It would take around 3.0478447E15 tries to crack a weak DLF account password, so while our computers
are busy trying to ’remember’ our forgotten passwords, there is more than enough time for a Symposium
to Solve other Secrets! Join us on the 3rd of March for 2026’s DLF Symposium ”Cracking the codes
of the universe” from 11:00 until 17:00! Lunch is on us and for a small contribution of max. 6,50€ we
will provide dinner.

The symposium starts at 11:00 AM with a joint lecture in the Gorleaus building. Subsequently,
the symposium splits into two study tracks: NS (Natuur- en Sterrenkunde) and WI (Wiskunde en
Informatica). Both tracks consist of multiple lectures aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students in
the specific fields. After lunch at 13:00 we will continue with 2 lectures per track, after which we will
conclude with a final joint lecture. At the end of the day, there will be dinner from Woo Ping Leiden
and access to the Fusie (the bar).
